Welcome to the new GetSynchronicity website and to my blog.
Months ago when we began developing this site, we envisioned creating a destination that would be an inspiration for our customers. We tossed around lots of clever ideas. We also tossed away most of them. In the end, we decided that creating a space where clients could connect with the people managing their project and where visitors could connect with the work of other experiential brand marketers mattered more than inspiration.
We sometimes find ourselves chasing inspiration. If you’ve been in this business long enough, you know what I mean by that. Those times when you’re desperately trying to conjure up a brilliant concept but can’t seem to find anything that satisfies. When that happens, we think back to what got us started in experience marketing in the first place. Helping people make connections. Experience has taught us, time and again, that when we create opportunities for people to connect with other people that matter to them, all sorts of unexpected relationships open up. Some call that inspired marketing. We call it synchronicity.
